What Reference Managers and Research Tools does the Library work with?

Answer

Zotero

Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share research.
The Library has subscribed to Zotero Institutional Storage that provides to Zotero users with an @weizmann.ac.il email address unlimited storage reflected in their storage settings, with a note that it's provided by The Weizmann Institute of Science. Weizmann users who registered with a different email address can add their @weizmann.ac.il address to their account at any time from their account settings on zotero.org.

Mendeley

Mendeley, is a free reference manager and academic social network that can help you organize your research, collaborate with others online, and discover the latest findings on your topic. The Library has purchased an institutional edition which allows up to 5 GB personal space, further collaboration abilities such as unlimited number of private groups and up to 25 people in private group and more.  HOWEVER, please note that Mendeley (v1.19) has started encrypting your Mendeley database, making it difficult to do a full export of data to Zotero.  The Library cannot recommend a product which blocks portability of data.

RefWorks
