How can I learn more about iThenticate?

Does Weizmann have an account with iThenticate, the anti-plagiarism program used to check a manuscript against published works?

Answer

Weizmann Institute of Science has access to iThenticate, a useful tool in the writing and publishing process, for use by faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and some graduate students. Using iThenticate prior to submitting your own manuscripts, grant applications, and scholarly documents to journals, publishers, funding agencies, and academic repositories will help you ensure that you are following proper citation and attribution practices. While iThenticate is not meant to be used to check other people’s writing for plagiarism, it can be used to demonstrate appropriate use of citations to students.

This new version includes the new feature, AI writing detectionThis add-on is only available with iThenticate 2.0 and provides you with the latest and most advanced tools to identify AI misconduct issues. Please click this guide for information.
