Answer

Yes.

The Central Library has a small collection of (mostly) popular fiction called the "Bookworm Collection".

Subjects:  Any.  Popular fiction, science fiction, romance, classics -- we'll even take non-fiction...

Languages:  There are separate sections for books in Hebrew, Russian, English and other European languages.

Book Order:  Within each section, the adult books are grouped alphabetically, according to the the first letter of the author’s last name.  Children's books are not sorted by author, just loosely grouped by age.

Location:

  • English

    • O - Z are located next to the main entrance on the west side (Charlies side), adjacent to the computer workstations
  • all other languages are located next to the main entrance on the west side (Charlies side), adjacent to the computer workstations
  • children's books and games are on the west side inside the door with additional books up the stairs and opposite/slightly to the left of the stairs

Description

The Bookworm Collection exists thanks to book donations which are encouraged and gratefully received. The books are not part of the Library database and cannot be searched or discovered via the Library catalog.

You are welcome to visit the Library and browse the collection, locate and borrow any book you would like to read.

No need to register a loan via the computer. Just enjoy the book and bring it back whenever you finish reading it.
