AIP No-Charge APCs from 2022 (Read & Publish Agreement)

As of 2022 Weizmann Institute of Science, by the Consortia level has signed an agreement to publish open access to corresponding authors in selected journals with AIP without payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC), HYBRID titles only.
See the list of the eligible titles below.

Fully Open Access journals and AIP Conference Proceedings are NOT included in this agreement.

  • During submission, you must identify Weizmann as your affiliated institution and indicate that you want to publish Gold Open Access.
  • Please see the attached file for the full procedure.
  • Use only your Weizmann e-mail account for the submission.
  • Apply your ORCID number in every submission.
  • Be aware that the discount will cover only APC costs and NOT any additional costs.
  • At acceptance, you will be sent a license agreement, which includes details of the CC-BY option (please contact the Library if a different license is required)
  • Once open access is confirmed, the institution's name identifies you as eligible for an APC waiver.
