What are the Library regulations for a retired scientist's books?
Answer
All scientist office books that were purchased from any research budget are considered the Institute's property and registered in the Library catalog. If the department / another research group / another scientist would like to keep some books, the library should get the list of those books' details (or the books themselves) and the name of a new owner to reflect the change in the catalog.
If the books are not needed in the department, they should be transferred to the Goldschleger Library. Please contact Paysach Burke beforehand to make the necessary arrangements.
