How can I search Journal Impact Factor?
Answer
Impact Factors for scientific journals can be found in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database, which you can access via our Library subscription.
You can view all journals at once, search for a specific journal title, or choose a group of journals by subject area. Sort journal lists by impact factor by selecting Journal Impact Factor above your search results.
Note:
- Journal Impact Factors are released annually around the month of July
- Not every journal will have an Impact Factor. Journals must be indexed in the Science Citation Index or Social Science Citation Index and must have several years of publications before they can be included in the Impact Factor report.
- The JCR site uses pop-ups, so if your browser blocks pop-ups, you will need to give permission in your browser allowing pop-ups in order to see the results of JCR searches
- Access is via our IP range. Log in will enable more features.
