How can I choose a style for my references in Endnote?

I need to submit an article to a certain journal. How can I change the style in Endnote to the style that is demanded by this journal?

Answer

On both Endnote and Cite-while-you-write (Endnote's Word extension) toolbars you are able to see a drop-down window with the current Bibliographic Output Style you are using.

In order to change this style and choose another style you first need to open the drop-down. A list of popular and recently used styles will appear.

If you desired style is already there you can simply click on it. If not:

1. Click on "Select another style" (first option on the drop-down menu). A new window with a list of about 500 different styles will open.

2. Choose the desired style from the list (the list is alphabetical and you can also use the "Quick Search" box to search for a style name by keywords.

3. Click on the "Choose" button and the style you picked will be then updated on Endnote.

If you are were unable to find your desired style in this list please refer to: How to download a style to Endnote?
