Problems with PubMed
I have used PubMed for a long time and never had any problems with it.
Recently, when I use Google Chrome something appears to have changed in the definitions and the searches I make come out totally wrong.
When I switched to a different browser (Internet Explorer) I encounter no difficulties with PubMed.
I would much appreciate if you could help solving to problem since I'd rather use Chrome.
Answer
Chrome is by far the most popular browser among Weizmann staff, so it is important to hear about problems like this.
The Library recommends using the Weizmann-Pubmed link (https://weizmann.libguides.com/pubmed) which includes everything you need when searching PubMed (specifically, our library code plus ezproxy for off-campus access).
You don't have to remember a bunch of links -- just remember that the Library Website provides access to ALL our databases
- via the Search search box on the home page (select databases from the dropdown)
- at Research Support > Search Services (http://www.weizmann.ac.il/library/research-support/search-services).
Please notify the Library (library@weizmann.ac.il) as soon as possible if problems continue.
