Why do I need to log in to Primo OneSearch when I search?

Why is it necessary to sign in to the Library's search tool, Primo OneSearch, before searching.  Don't I get all the results without logging in?

Answer

Some databases are included in the search, but will not show results unless you login.

Examples of these databases are

  • some ProQuest databases
  • Scopus
  • Web of Science, Science Citation Index

Please note that if you are looking for a printed book, the complete information about the availability of books only appears for logged-in patrons.
