How to Embed Altmetric Widgets?

Answer

These widgets use article DOI to identify the specific article.

PlumX

Overview:  https://plumanalytics.com/integrate/embed-metrics/

Widget Instructions:  https://plu.mx/plum/developers/widgets

To use widget code for a specific article:

[1] Click on a widget from a Pure Portal publication

[2] Click on “see details” in the PlumX list

[3] In the following page, click “Embed Widget” (top right).  There are multiple configuration options – the below code makes the widget size medium and moves the popup box to the left.

[4] Then click “Get Code” and copy it to your web page.

Sample Code

<script type="text/javascript" src="//d39af2mgp1pqhg.cloudfront.net/widget-popup.js"></script>
<p><a class="plumx-plum-print-popup" data-hide-when-empty="true" data-popup="left" data-site="plum" data-size="medium" href="https://plu.mx/plum/a/?doi=10.1103%2Fphysrevlett.118.237201">Bottleneck Accumulation of Hybrid Magnetoelastic Bosons</a> <a href="https://journals-aps-org.ezproxy.weizmann.ac.il/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.118.237201" target="_blank">Bottleneck Accumulation of Hybrid Magnetoelastic Bosons</a></p>
