Why can't I log in with my Weizmann user name to see full text of articles when I’m off campus?

My Weizmann user name and password work! I can log into my computer without any problem.
Why doesn't remote access work?
What should I do?

Answer

First, you should call 4444 -- IT Help Desk, +972-(0)8-934-4444.

Ask if your user name has been blocked because of multiple failed login attempts.

This is the most common problem and will get the fastest response!

If your user name is blocked, ask the IT Help Desk to unblock it, and you will once again have remote access to full text.

 

If that doesn't work:  Your account may have been blocked because of suspicious activity.  In this case, someone else in the IT department must unblock your account and it can be difficult to get this done via the IT Help Desk.
