Can the library order a print copy in addition to the electronic book?
What do I do if I want a book in hard copy, not online?
Answer
According to Library policy, we cannot purchase a hard copy for the library when an electronic version exists.
If you need a print copy, you have the following options:
- Ask the head of your group to order the book from the research budget. Upon receipt of the Internal Services book purchase order the library will buy the book for your lab. Complete the appropriate online form at http://www.weizmann.ac.il/library/using-the-library/library-forms
- Borrow the book via inter-library loan from another university. A research budget (via External Loan form, Internal services) or your private budget (NIS 12 in cash upon receipt of the book) can be used. Complete the online form at http://www.weizmann.ac.il/library/inter-library-loan-ill
